Engineering Students from the University of the East Complete Industry-Immersive Training at Madriaga Systems

Madriaga Systems Supplies & General Services Inc. proudly announces the successful completion of the On-the-Job Training (OJT) program for Mechanical Engineering students from the University of the East. This milestone highlights the company’s continued commitment to nurturing future engineers by bridging academic learning with real-world industry applications.

Throughout the training period, the students were immersed in the core operations of Madriaga Systems and given direct exposure to the practical aspects of engineering in the field of water technology. From hands-on learning about water pumps and booster systems, piping design and installation, to fire protection systems and filtration technologies, the trainees gained invaluable insights into the essential components of mechanical systems used in both residential and commercial infrastructures.

What sets this training apart is the strategic collaboration with Madriaga’s major business partners and global suppliers. These industry leaders extended their expertise to train and mentor the students through technical seminars, product demos, and site visits. This partnership-driven approach offered the trainees a comprehensive understanding of the latest innovations in pump technology, system automation, and sustainable water solutions.

Our goal is to equip future engineers with a deeper knowledge of the engineering profession beyond textbooks, said Gary Madriaga, President of Madriaga Systems. We’re proud to offer an environment where students can experience real-world applications of mechanical engineering preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the industry after graduation.

Madriaga Systems remains committed to education and workforce development by fostering a strong industry-academe partnership. As the company continues to grow, it remains rooted in its mission: to provide high-quality engineering solutions while investing in the future of Filipino engineers.
